The Mamelodi Sundowns star has managed to keep his private life under wraps, leaving many to guess about his age.No doubt he is older than we thought. Taking to Instagram stories, the star shared a series of birthday posts which have since thrust him into top trends.In the backdrop of his posts, Mzansi flooded social media with birthday wishes. However, many were more than puzzled by Bongani Zungu’s age.

The 31-year-old football maestro was born in the East Rand 1992 in Duduza, west of Nigel. Bongani Zungu had his shot in the limelight when he was only 18. His flair saw him being the most sought-after star.His return to Mamelodi Sundowns undoubtedly saw him being one of the highest-paid players despite not having enough game time due to a string of injuries that have kept him out of the game for months.

From Vitoria Guimaraes, he joined Amiens in 2017 before leaving in 2022 for Rangers on loan.
