Devin Booker went into takeover mode Monday at Philadelphia. Will that continue with Cam Johnson out and Chris Paul dealing with a sore right heel?
MINNEAPOLIS – Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams saw Devin Booker was in full takeover mode Monday night at Philadelphia – and wished he had done something about it.
Williams fully understands scoring ravages through Booker’s DNA, but has reminded him the more Phoenix plays as a team, the better he is as a player. Mikal Bridges is capable of 20-point nights and he’s averaging a career-best 14.9 so far this season. But Cameron Payne may be the offensive spark. Phoenix scored a season-low 88 Monday.
