It was recently revealed by Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir that an estimated 430,000 National Higher Education Fund Corporation
borrowers who have graduated have not paid their loans amounting to RM6 billion.
According to a report by Kosmo, he shared that some of these borrowers had graduated decades ago but never repaid their loans, leading to the amount increasing as the years go by.This has left Malaysians with a bad taste in their mouths, as many condemned these borrowers for not paying their debts. “If you have a high-paying job, you are still secretly running away from your PTPTN debt, standby as many problems will await you later.
