Sister and brother-run company Camilla and Marc have launched an ovarian cancer campaign to help raise awareness and support a new “cancer detection test,” says CEO Marc Freeman.
“Ovarian cancer affects over 300,000 women globally a year – we’re here standing up for all those women who’ve lost their lives to make a difference,” he told Sky News Australia.
“They are trying to develop a simple blood test, that will detect ovarian cancer early. The dream is for this to be available at your local GP on a regular cycle,” Mr Freeman said. “The support of so many people behind us supporting this campaign – is driving the science forward towards an early detection test.”
