Mayor Mike Bradley, of Sarnia, Ont., expects a “very tough summer” for all border communities, now that governmental financial assistance is over and businesses have not bounced back fully from pre-pandemic levels. Mayors Diodati and Bradley said that they have been raising their concerns with federal ministers, but said that the final decision “seems to be coming from the top.”
