Enjoy it while it lasts CoDMobile TechNave
Just last week, we reported that Call of Duty Mobile will be replaced by Warzone Mobile this year. It was stated in a document released by Microsoft regarding the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Obviously, this got a lot of COD Mobile players worried about the app's future.
A few hours ago, the official COD Mobile social account posted an announcement regarding the mobile game app's future. In the post, the team said they remain committed to the app and"intend to continue supporting the game". They also claim to have a"robust roadmap of fresh new CODM content, activities and updates for the long haul".
From the looks of it, it seems that COD Mobile will continue as it has always been but we don't exactly know how long is the"long haul". It may be for years or even months, but one thing for sure is the team doesn't seem to have any plans to converge the app with COD Warzone Mobile. For your information, the Warzone Mobile app is scheduled to be released this year. There's no launching date yet but it's said to have a cross-progression system of the PC and console versions. I guess we can only wait and see so until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
