Sidewalk vendors are no longer eyesores in Cainta, Rizal as their stalls now have a new look. ManilaBulletin
Patterned after the food kiosks in Korea, the stalls have been provided by the municipal government to the sidewalk vendors for free.
Municipal Administrator Johnielle Keith Nieto, former mayor of Cainta, said in his post on Facebook that the vendors near the pedestrian overpass in Karangalan Village and Vista Verde areas have been given new kiosks for their wares. The former mayor said in his previous social media post that the new kiosks will give the vendors a sense of dignity in their desire to earn a living and at the same time, giving decency to the place where they sell.
