USING the steps taken by the late former secretary Susan Ople as his guide, Department of Migrant Workers Officer-in-Charge Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac on Friday, September 8, 2023, vowed to continue the direction set forth by his predecessor in continously helping overseas Filipino workers .
"As we remain in grief and mourning over the loss of our dearest Secretary Toots, we adhere to her constant reminder that there is so much to be done, with so little time," said Cacdac. Cadac said among the priorities of the DMW under his leadership is getting its proposed P15.542-billion budget for 2024 approved.
