SEPANG: The incident involving Palestinian refugees at Wisma Transit Kuala Lumpur on Saturday will be discussed at this week's Cabinet meeting, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil .

"The Cabinet meeting will get updates from the Defence Minister .Incident involving Palestinians at Wisma Transit resolved without injuries, says Armed Forces"I am confident there will be some progress after Wednesday’s meeting," the unity government spokesman told reporters after the launch of Visit Malaysia 2026 here on Monday .

The Malaysian Armed Forces confirmed that an incident involving several refugees at WTKL was resolved without any injuries or major damage. The incident occurred at about 5pm on Saturday when a group of Palestinians wanted the processing of their application to return home sped up.This was the second such disturbance after a similar incident in October.

On Aug 16, Malaysia brought 127 Palestinians, including 41 persons injured as a result of Israel’s attacks on Gaza, to the country for medical treatment.
