Cabinet backs move for MPs declaring assets, gifts

THE special cabinet committee on anti-corruption today agreed to continue with policies agreed under the Pakatan Harapan administration, such as holding scheduled JKKMAR and National Anti-Corruption Committee meetings as outlined by a 2018 directive. This includes strengthening accountability and the integrity of MPs through the declaration of assets and gifts received, implementing organisational anti-corruption plan and corruption risk management evaluation in all ministries and in the public sector for effective prevention of corruption.
