BYD has announced two new showrooms in the country. One of them is located in Alot Setar, Kedah, with the other being in Kuching, Sarawak.
Electric vehicle brand BYD has announced the launch of two more showrooms in the country. One of these is located in Alor Setar, Kedah, while the other is in Kuching, Sarawak. Both were launched in partnership with Sime Darby Motors as well as local dealers, giving potential customers better access to the brand in the two states.
The BYD showroom in Alor Setar is established through Hong Thai Motor Trading Sdn Bhd, which also operates as a 3S center, providing sales, service and spare parts services to potential customers. This allows customers to not only get a better look at the EVs they may purchase, but also return for maintenance when necessary. The company says that its ATTO 3 and Dolphin EVs are now available at the showroom.
As for its showroom in Kuching, BYD says this is its new mall-concept showroom, located at City One Megamall and launched with Regas EV Auto Sdn Bhd. This is a 1S showroom, which means that the only service it provides are the sales of its EVs. That being said, the company does have a service centre 'located across the street along Jalan Tun Judah', with two service bays. Both the ATTO 3 and the Dolphin are available in this showroom as well.
With the launch of these two showrooms, BYD says that it has 12 showrooms across the country. The company says that the one in Kuching is also the third mall-concept showroom opened this year.
