Buscaino, who spent a decade as the 15th District representative on the LA City Council, has joined Ballard Partners.
Former Los Angeles Councilmember Joe Buscaino will head up the LA office of a national lobbying firm that has connections to big-name Republican figures — including former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
“Joe has had a distinguished career on the Los Angeles City Council for more than a decade,” Ballard said in a written statement, “and we are honored to have him lead our Los Angeles office.” In a statement issued by the firm, Buscaino said he “couldn’t be happier to join Ballard Partners and lead its Los Angeles office.
Buscaino was initially elected to the City Council in 2012 to finish the term of current County Supervisor Janice Hahn, who had been elected to Congress.
