In a major coup for Vodacom URC outfit Edinburgh, the Scottish club have appointed one of SA rugby’s top tacticians as senior coach from next season. 💼
Edinburgh on Thursday announced that the experienced Sean Everitt has signed with the side on an initial one-year deal, subject to a successful visa application.
Everitt brings a wealth of experience to Edinburgh, having been part of the Sharks organisation from 2007 to 2022.Everitt rose to the head coach position at the Sharks for three seasons, leading them in Super Rugby, the URC, Champions Cup and Currie Cup, while managing some of the biggest names in SA rugby – including Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.
“I’m honoured and delighted to be afforded a coaching opportunity at Edinburgh Rugby,” Everitt told the club’s official website. “Edinburgh has a proud history and I’m privileged to be part of their successful journey toward becoming a top club in Europe.
