Progressive wages are not enough to benefit middle-income earners, says Geoffrey Williams.
An economist said the government’s 2024 budget must include policies that would allow middle-income earners flexible working arrangements.
He suggested that the government consider including policies that would offer flexible working arrangements. Last week, economy minister Rafizi Ramli said the unity government is focused on raising the income levels of Malaysians, saying it will have a direct impact on their overall quality of life.
