JOHOR BARU: Johor is expecting good news from Budget 2023 which will be tabled by the Prime Minister later on Friday (Feb 24), says Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.
The Mentri Besar added he was looking forward to the retabling of Budget 2023 by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the Finance Minister, in Parliament.
“I am confident that, after a series of discussions and meetings between the state and Federal Government, there will be some interesting and good news for Johor. “Not only good for the state, the economic spillover will benefit Malaysia as a whole. However, I do not know much about the details and we have to wait for the announcement from the Prime Minister later,” he told the media after officiating the Johor Student Leaders Council conference at a hotel here.
Budget 2023 is expected to incorporate significant changes from the version tabled by the previous government in October.
