KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the B40 group with household income of less than RM2,500 are eligible for Rahmah cash aid of up to RM2,500 depending on the number of children, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said food baskets and vouchers for staple food items worth RM600 will be extended to Rahmah cash aid recipients who are registered in the eKasih system.
Amounts between RM200 and RM400 will be given to youths aged between 18 and 20 through ewallet credit under the Belia Rahmah eTunai initiative, Anwar added during the tabling of Budget 2023 here on Friday . Themed"Membangun Malaysia Madani" , Budget 2023 will in particular focus on addressing the high cost of living, strengthening the social safety net and enhancing the micro, small and medium enterprises ecosystem.
