The internet was thrown into a tailspin whenreleased a report that Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyers had filed a civil lawsuit against her label 1501 just for her feature on the song to be released.
Despite “Butter” having placed no.1 on Billboard for nine weeks, 1501 allegedly claimed that the feature with the mega-star group would not be “good for her career,” according to court documents. They requested a “waiver” that would allow Megan to be a part of the song if the label received a fee of $100,000. However, the 26-year-old Grammy winner would not be entitled to that money.
The feeling of excitement has been palpable online now that the ear-melting song has been released, with both Megan and BTS sharing their elation for the remix on Instagram and.
