Brown backs 'world-class' Manie

Newly-appointed Springbok attacking coach Tony Brown wants to help Manie Libbok realise his potential after holding a one-on-one session with the flyhalf.

, former All Blacks flyhalf Brown held a kicking session with Libbok on Monday, after meeting the DHL Stormers star during the recent Springbok alignment camp.

“I enjoyed meeting him and talking to him. I want to understand his philosophy about attacking rugby.Since making his debut in November 2022, Libbok has played 14 Tests for the Springboks, scoring 87 points. He started the 2023 World Cup as South Africa’s go-to flyhalf in Handre Pollard’s injury-enforced absence.
