Broadband penetration key to economy’s survival, says Gobind

THE Communications and Multimedia Ministry targets for the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan to achieve a minimal 500 Mbps in state capitals and selected high-impact areas by 2021. Minister Gobind Singh Deo said the ministry also aims to have 98% of other areas enjoying average speeds of 30Mbps by 2023.
