Lionsgate's latest arrives on September 29.
Summary Britt Robertson is the life of the party in the new Lionsgate comedy The Re-Education of Molly Singer, which arrives in theaters and On Demand on September 29. The movie, which was directed by Andy Palmer from a screenplay penned by Todd M. Friedman and Kevin Haskin, sees Robertson taking on the titular role of Molly Singer.
Her mission entails befriending her boss' awkward son and turning him into a campus heartthrob in exchange for keeping her job, a task which turns out to be no easy feat. In addition to Robertson, The Re-Education of Molly Singer stars Jaime Pressly as Molly's boss Brenda, Ty Simpkins as Brenda's son Elliot, and Nico Santos as her friend Ollie. The ensemble cast also includes Wendie Malick, Ty Simpkins, Holland Roden , and Cierra Ramirez .
The above clip offers a glimpse of the brand of comedy that will carry The Re-Education of Molly Singer through its absurd but humorous plot. Furthermore, it highlights Molly's ambivalence toward her career — something that will surely change after she gets a second chance at college life and has to deal with the very real possibility of losing the future she's worked for. The movie has a runtime of 120 minutes and is rated R for sexual content, pervasive language, and some drug use.
The Re-Education of Molly Singer arrives in select theaters, on digital, and On Demand on September 29.
