British TikToker Clarifies That Chicken Chop is Not a Western Creation & That it is Malaysian

This Englishman, taking to TikTok, mentioned how chicken chops are not a dish originating from the West.

In his 1-minute video, he rants about how it is not surprising as the English Tikka Masala is not Indian but English through and through.

“It was created right here in Malaysia. I don’t blame Malaysians for thinking that it is a Western dish. It looks like a western dish, it is not typically the kind of dish you would find in this part of the world, and, of course, it is on the western menu when you go to a restaurant.” This is not the first time this Englishman has discussed the differences between English and Malaysian cuisine, but this one certainly hit a ‘nerve’ regarding the famed chicken chop.
