The gates of Brisbane Government House have opened, with the grounds being filled with people who have come out to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla with activities and live music for the public.
About 5,000 people have registered to attend the open day, with organisers expecting a much larger amount to come.
The open day has a range of activities, including a scavenger hunt, face painting, and live music, with the main event being a RAAF flyover.
