Brisbane may have the ingredients needed to beat Penrith, but denying the Panthers an NRL three-peat in the grand final remains the most daunting of tasks.

Inevitably, it puts Nathan Cleary in the position for attacking kicks, limiting the damage opposition backs can do on kick returns in broken play.
