Bring back centralised one agency system, Malay contractor group urges govt

“Our association, which has about 14,000 members nationwide, supports the present government, especially the Finance Ministry’s efforts in renegotiating all projects as we understand that our economy is not doing well due to financial issues. Its main focus was to ensure that the government met its development agenda within the approved timeframe and budget allocation.
Mohamed Fadzill also urged the government to increase the value of projects to afford contractors in the lower group better opportunities.
