A similar desire has been expressed by Brazil. The aspiration of South Africa and Brazil resembles Indonesia's downstreaming determination. Several countries are also beginning to push the idea of downstreaming natural resources. They want to stop being raw material suppliers for other countries' industries. They want foreign investors to invest capital in processing natural resources before exporting them.
During the occasion, the President invited her counterpart, President Samia, to strengthen solidarity and collaboration between developing countries.
