Researchers studied RNA from tumors of premenopausal women with HR-positive breast cancer.

Index can predict which premenopausal women with hormone receptor–positive breast cancer benefit from ovarian function suppression therapy. Women with BCIResearchers conducted a prospective-retrospective translational study using tumor tissue samples from 1718 premenopausal women with hormone receptor–positive early-stage breast cancer .

The primary endpoints were breast cancer–free interval and distant recurrence-free interval , with a median follow-up time of 12 years.
