Not with numbers like these: four years in the program, four total catches and three season-ending injuries. For a man that was once a headliner of BYU’s 2018 signing class, his football career had been derailed. It got to the point this summer where Cosper’s name wasn’t even mentioned“He has always been there, he just hasn’t stayed healthy,” head coach Kalani Sitake said. “It is kind of bad luck with the injury bug.”
So this camp has provided a different starting point for Cosper. In years past, he was the darling of the receiver room, the highly rated recruit who had all the potential in the world. Now, he is the veteran that nobody is waiting on, the guy who is having to prove himself all over again.
