Residents paying to have water trucked onto their properties during Perth's record dry spell are dismayed to find that groundwater is getting extracted nearby to be sold as bottled water.
The Australian Beverages Council has declined to reveal how much groundwater is getting extracted by bottled water manufacturers in the Perth Hills .There are growing calls from more transparency about how much water is being taken.
