The CEO of new Australian airline Bonza has said the carrier is 'very encouraged' by the response from travellers with an 'astonishing' number of seats sold and 'many happy customers' on launch day.
Australia's new low cost carrier Bonza had"many happy customers" on its launch day, the airline's CEO has told Sky News Australia.
"We had many happy customers and invited guests on board and everything seemed to be very well received," Mr Jordan said. "I think people realise that we're bringing something very different to the market, with a focus on new markets, new market growth, price stimulated travel, which for many regions will be the first time."
Mr Jordan said the airline was focusing on routes that were not offered by other carriers including Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia. Bonza will look to"add frequency where we see that there is strength there", the CEO noted, and add more destinations if there is market demand.
