MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday urged unvaccinated Filipinos to get the COVID-19 jabs for the protection of their families and the public. The President made the plea during the launch of the bivalent vaccines at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City, with around 2,500 healthcare workers expected to receive additional immunization against the Omicron variant.“Let this occasion serve as a call to every Filipino to continue doing your part. Get updated on your COVID-19 vaccination to prevent a resurgence, as a means of honoring those who sacrificed their lives during the pandemic.
