According to Marcos, they held a Christmas party for kids to ensure that all Filipino youth will get to experience Christmas.
Apart from gifts, children were also treated to other game activities at the Kalayaan Grounds, akin to a “perya” or a small funfair. After leading the Christmas tree lighting ceremony last night in Malacañang, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. continues to spread the Yuletide cheers by inviting around 600 children for a Sunday treat dubbed, ‘Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya: Nationwide Gift Giving’ at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañan Palace on December 4, 2022.
According to the Palace, the said event was done by the Office of the President in cooperation with the Department of Social Welfare and Development , the Department of Health , as well as local government units.
