Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has extended his full support for the establishment of the National Disease Prevention Management Authority, Medical Reserve Corps, and the Virology Institute of the Philippines.

Go was interviewed last September 21, 2023 at the groundbreaking for the Super Health Center in San Mateo, Rizal, his full support for the establishment of the National Disease Prevention Management Authority, Medical Reserve Corps, and the Virology Institute of the Philippines. Go clarified that the NDPMA is essentially the same as the previously named Center for Disease Control and Prevention bill.

“It is better to be ready and prepared. It is important that we have a center or a department that will help us prepare for future pandemics,” he said. He concluded by saying that he supports these initiatives that will benefit Filipinos, the healthcare system, and the less fortunate. “While I may be counted only as one vote, I support all these bills.”
