Senator Christopher “Bong” Go personally conducts a site inspection of the ongoing construction of the Bustos Multipurpose Sports Facility in Bulacan.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Sports, Go reaffirmed his commitment to strengthen efforts to create more opportunities for Filipino athletes. Thus, he continues to push for several initiatives that would benefit athletes nationwide. A known advocate of sports development in the grassroots, Go has always underscored the importance of sports in nation-building. According to him, aside from honing the skills of budding Filipino athletes, sports will teach values like discipline and hard-work while guiding them to stay away from illegal drugs and criminality.

The NAS is a government-run academy aimed at developing the country’s future athletes by offering quality secondary education with a special curriculum on sports for gifted young Filipinos who want to enhance their physical and mental capabilities in sports.
