In a post online the Dublin club said the talks, facilitated by the Mission of the State of Palestine in Ireland, have been ongoing for “several months".The club's 2023 shirt in support of ‘Palestine: Sports for Life’ remains on sale and the club said it sent another payment of €8,000 to the West Bank last week.

“These payments are used to support children's right to play football as a tool to try relieve the huge trauma they are suffering on a daily basis,” it said.
