The body of 15-year-old Yap Xin Huan, who was found dead in Sungai Changgang, Banting, was claimed by her family from Hospital Banting's Forensics Unit this morning. The teen's body was transported in a Toyota Vellfire and is expected to be laid to rest at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Crematorium in Cheras this afternoon. Family members, who were approached, declined to comment further due to their grief. Police confirmed yesterday that the body of the deceased female teenager found on Saturday was Xin Huan, who had been missing since December 19th. The confirmation came after DNA tests conducted by police yielded positive results. Three suspects, aged 16, 20, and 51, including the victim's boyfriend, have been detained to assist in investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
