The body was so badly burned that police said they currently do not know the victim’s age or gender.
A body was found inside a burning vehicle in Philadelphia on Tuesday, according to media reports.
Firefighters responded to a report of a car fire around 1 a.m. After putting the fire out, they found the body on the floor of the back seat. The interior of the car was burned out and the windows were broken. Police said witnesses saw the SUV being parked shortly before 1 a.m., and that two people were seen leaving it shortly before it burst into flames.
