A Star Wars fan expertly recreates and reimagines The Book of Boba Fett's Cad Bane showdown with toys, though it's nearly impossible to tell. The success of The Mandalorian on Disney+ has led to the development of several other Star Wars TV shows, and the most recent one to hit the streaming service was The Book of Boba Fett.
Though the bulk of The Book of Boba Fett followed this story, the back half of the 7-episode first season was jam-packed with Star Wars cameos that connected to larger arcs. From the Mandalorian himself to Luke Skywalker , The Book of Boba Fett featured plenty of Easter eggs for longtime fans of the franchise. The series also depicted a showdown fans have been desperately waiting for when Fett came face to face with Cad Bane , his former mentor and notorious animated villain.
Boba Fett's standoff with Cad Bane ended with the Sarlacc survivor coming out on top and besting his former mentor once and for all. Now, as Fett himself has shown, apparent deaths can be reversed in the Star Wars universe. There could be more ahead for Cad Bane, or even more in the past. Lucasfilm now has Star Wars projects stretching in all directions of the franchise's timeline, so anything can happen. The Book of Boba Fett may have been just the beginning here; only time will tell.
