Tech entrepreneur Nima Momeni worked hard and partied harder, neighbors and friends say. One person who knew him said he had been visibly on edge in the days after Lee’s killing.

San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said at the event that Momeni will be arraigned tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. with a request that he be detained without bail. Jenkins also called recent tweets from Elon Musk “reckless and irreparable” misinformation after the serial founder and Twitter CEO accused city officials of releasing violent offenders after they’ve been caught.that Momeni phoned to ask him for “all your alcohol” on the evening of April 4, hours after Lee’s killing .
“I cannot see him as a violent person, and I don’t know the circumstances that would make him violent, but he’s the type that avoids violence,” the person said. According to this person, Momeni and his mother left their home in Mashad, Iran after the Iranian Revolution of 1979. They recalled Momeni struggling to grow up without a father, but said he eventually found success in IT — enjoying “cars, boats and girls” in his free time.
