BMW Malaysia has introduced a cheaper BMW iX1 EV priced under RM250K. The single-motor BMW iX1 eDrive20 M Sport has 201hp and boasts up to 475km of range.

The front-wheel-drive electric SUV can get from 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and it can go up to a maximum speed of 170km/h. As a comparison, the dual-motor iX1 xDrive30 boasts 230kW and 494Nm of torque, and it can do 0-100km/h in 5.

On the inside, it gets BMW’s driver-focused curved display which consists of a 10.25″ main infotainment display and a 10.7″ instrument cluster. The EV features BMW Live Cockpit professional, powered by the latest BMW OS 9. Harman Kardon sound system is also included and the infotainment system also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
