The BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport, a facelifted version of the popular electric sedan, has launched in Malaysia, offering a renewed aesthetic and slightly improved range. Alongside the refreshed exterior, the interior features a new M sports steering wheel and lighter M PerformTex upholstery.
The BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport has arrived in Malaysia , replacing its predecessor launched two years ago. This marks the first iteration of the refreshed i4 model in the Malaysia n market, and currently, it's the only available facelift variant. The new eDrive35 M Sport introduces two captivating color options: Cape York Green and Fire Red. For those who prefer existing choices, Alpine White, Mineral White, Black Sapphire, M Portimao Blue, and M Brooklyn Grey remain available.
Performance-wise, the 2025 i4 eDrive35 M Sport remains largely consistent with its predecessor. It retains its rear-wheel drive configuration, powered by a 210kW (282hp) motor generating 400Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h acceleration time remains at a brisk 6 seconds, accompanied by a top speed of 190km/h. The electric sedan continues to utilize a 70.3kWh battery, offering a slightly extended WLTP-rated range of 500km compared to its predecessor's 483km. Charging speeds remain unchanged, with support for a DC charging speed of 180kW and an 11kW AC onboard charger.Standard features for the Malaysian market include the Attentiveness Assistant, Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Parking Assistant Plus, and Driving Assistant. The 2025 eDrive35 M Sport primarily showcases aesthetic enhancements. These include a revamped grille design and redesigned Adaptive LED headlights incorporating BMW Selective Beam technology. Locally, the eDrive35 M Sport comes standard with Laserlight rear lights and new 19-inch M Aerodynamics wheels in a 996 M Bicolour finish. The interior boasts an M sports steering wheel with a flat bottom and a black interior featuring M PerformTex upholstery, significantly lighter – reducing the weight from 52kg to just 18kg.
