TIME Magazine revealed its list of most influential people of 2022, including BLACKPINK—the first ever girl group to be recognized for the said award.In August, the quartet released the single and got to perform it at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, making them the first K-pop act to perform on the said stage. in September, they recorded a 2 million album sale and became the first female K-pop group to top the Billboard 200 list.
But despite these success, the girls remain down-to-earth, describing themselves as"very normal girls."We put in a lot of work so we could look like superwomen,” said Jennie. “We’re very normal girls, at the end of the day."
