Sorry Black Clover fans, but Sword of the Wizard King has been delayed thanks to COVID:
COVID-19 continues to cause the anime industry problems, with a number of series including the likes of Uncle From Another World, Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible, and BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. Unfortunately, it seems like one of the most highly anticipated anime movies of the year will also need to be pushed back as Black Clover has dropped the news that Sword of The Wizard King will be pushed back from its original date of next month.
Black Clover: Delay of The Wizard KingNetflix announced that the new release date for Black Clover's movie will be moved back from March 31st to June 16th, though the streaming service did release art to placate Shonen fans that have been waiting for the new adventure featuring Asta and his world of magic:
