Bike-themed coffee shop opens this month in East Dallas
Dallas Bike Works owner Boyd Wallace stands with Pull Through Coffee owner Christina James. The coffee bar was built inside Dallas Bike Works. James painted the mural along the back wall.Dallas Bike Works will soon have its own coffee shop.
James’ family is from Bogota, Colombia, and her extended family owns a coffee farm. “I have seen how hard they work for it,” she says. “You end up appreciating it a little bit more.” Pull Through Coffee is the only coffee shop in Dallas right now with a bike theme. Coffee and cycling are a natural fit, evidenced by other shops like Velo Cafe in Keller; Meteor Bike Shop and Flat Track Coffee in Austin; and Braking Cycles in Portland.
