Rutgers fans can now plan out their Saturday in Madison.
’ road meeting with Wisconsin on Saturday, October 7, will kick-off at noon on Peacock, the league announced Monday afternoon.
The trip marks Rutgers’ third trip to Madison, but its first under head coach Greg Schiano. The Scarlet Knights have lost their first four meetings with the Badgers, dropping both of their previous trips to Camp Randall: 48-10 in 2015 under head coach Kyle Flood andSchiano did participate in two wins over the Badgers during his time as the defensive coordinator at Ohio State: a 30-23 win in Camp Randall in 2016 and a 27-21 win at Lucas Oil Stadium in the 2017 Big Ten championship game.
With a fourth win practically guaranteed to come this weekend when it welcomes Wagner to Piscataway, Rutgers will almost certainly head to Wisconsin with a 4-1 record. So a victory over the Badgers would not only be historic, but it would tie the Scarlet Knights’ highest win total since Schiano returned for a second stint and would put them on the brink of clinching their first non-traditional bowl bid and non-losing season since the 2014 campaign.- vs. Wagner : 3:30 p.m.
