, those still tuning in to old-fashioned terrestrial television will see a significant change to their programming in the fall.
On Sept. 1, news station KRON4 will transition into an affiliate of the CW Network. The station is a part of Nexstar Media Group, which will also be transitioning two other stations to CW programming . The shift means that KRON’s prime-time programming, which includes “Inside Edition” and “Entertainment Tonight” followed by three hours of local news, will change to include CW shows. KRON’s announcement cites several of the CW’s biggest offerings, including “Sullivan’s Crossing” and “Fboy Island,” which spent two seasons on HBO Max before being canceled and picked up by the CW .
