Former US Army Vice Chief of Staff General Jack Keane says the cancellation of US President Joe Biden’s trip to Australia was “completely avoidable”.
“This is a crucial meeting that has been on the books for some time,” Mr Keane told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“And President Biden is involved in a domestic dispute with the congress of the United States … over the amount of debt the United States has. “This has been going on for months, and it could have been avoided as opposed to waiting to the last minute.”
