Not only did he get Congress to pass a waste-laden $1.7 trillion budget bill full of his agenda items, but he got some face time and a photo-op with hero Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who visited Washington to make his case for another $45 billion from taxpayers.
Conservative analyst Jed Babbin gave Biden some credit for the week, but he also saw a bunch of missteps in grading a C-. Pollster John Zogby took a break from grading this week, but he is already looking at next week’s full-year grade of Biden.Biden got a big lift from the visit to Washington by Zelensky on Wednesday. Had it been the only thing that happened, Biden would have earned a pretty high grade.
Meanwhile, about 8,000 illegal immigrants were coming into the United States every day. Tens of thousands are awaiting the expiration of the Title 42 regulations that allowed some to be turned back at the border. And Biden’s White House press secretary continues to lie, saying the border is secure. The Supreme Court blocked the expiration for a while, but it is expected to lift the block in a week or less. So the flood of illegal immigrants will come in and be welcomed by Biden.
