Perbicaraan kes pengubahan wang haram dan rasuah dihadapi bekas Ketua Penerangan Bersatu Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan berhubung projek Jana Wibawa yang dijadualkan di Mahkamah Sesyen di sini hari ini, ditangguhkan ke 24 Jun.
“Saya juga memohon supaya tarikh perbicaraan esok turut dilapangkan atas alasan isteri anak guam saya telah dimasukkan ke hospital semalam. Susulan itu, anak guam saya perlu menemani isterinya sepanjang minggu ini bagi rawatan,” kata peguam itu. Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Rasyidah Murni Azmi berkata pihak pendakwaan bersedia untuk perbicaraan pada hari ini dan esok, namun tidak membantah permohonan penangguhan prosiding perbicaraan.
Beliau juga didakwa menerima wang tunai RM6,962,694.54 melalui akaun CIMB Bank Berhad milik syarikatnya WSA Advisory Group Sdn Bhd, daripada akaun Maybank Islamic Berhad milik Nepturis Sdn Bhd sebagai upah membantu syarikat itu mendapatkan Surat Setuju Terima bagi projek terbabit.
