Cypress Ranch's Bianna Muoneke, The Woodlands' Molly Tuozzo named to AVCA All-America first team
Tuozzo will continue her volleyball career at Kentucky, while Muoneke is headed to Texas A&M. They were two of eight players from Texas selected to the first team.
Second-team members from the Greater Houston area include Conroe outside hitter Ariana Brown , Cypress Springs middle blocker Jordyn Jones and The Woodlands setter Claire Dewine . Honorable mention selections from the Houston area included Bellaire middle blocker Paris Gilmore , Bridgeland outside hitter Kennedy Kays , Bridgeland setter Lauren McIntyre , Ridge Point middle blocker Arissa Smith , Ridge Point outside hitter Sydney Jordan and Tompkins outside hitter Cindy Tchouwangwa .The following Houston-area players were selected to the AVCA All-Region 4 Team, which includes Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
