Quarterback Chandler Morris threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns in the Horned Frogs’ 36-13 win over new Big 12 conference rival Houston. It was the second straight win for TCU after its season-opening loss to No. 19 Colorado. Next up, the Horned Frogs host rival SMU.Conner Weigman is now second in the nation, first in the state of Texas, in QBR following the Aggies’ 47-3 win against ULM. He’ll look to continue this streak as the Aggies begin SEC play this week against Auburn.

The Cougars dropped their first conference game as a member of the Big 12, falling 36-13 to TCU. Houston’s lone touchdown came from a 98-yard kickoff return by Matthew Golden late in the first half. From that point on, TCU outscored Houston 23-3.The Bobcats got back in the win column with a 77-34 thrashing of Jackson State in their home opener. Texas State rushed for 399 yards in the win, led by quarterback Malik Hornsby’s 133.
